DALI ART 國際藝術村 第五期藝術家 — 陳曦

1996年出生於台中南屯，2018年大葉大學造形藝術系畢業，作品以雕塑創作為主，喜歡觀察鳥類的肢體語言，藉由觀察他們來與自己的狀態做連結，將日常生活中的情緒與過程作為創作方向，土對我來說是既有溫度又可以形塑任何東西的材質，觸摸土時彷彿毛燥的心情被安撫了情緒，找到一點點安全感與歸屬感，希望藉由雕塑慢慢了解自己。

5th DALI ART residency artist- Chen Hsi

Chen Hsi born in Nantun Dist, Taichung City in 1996, I graduated from Department of Plastic Arts, Da-Yeh University in 2018. The work is mainly based on sculpture creation. I like to observe the body language of birds. By observing them to connect with own status, the emotion and process in daily life are creative direction. The soil is a material that has temperature and it can shape anything for me. When I touch the soil, As if the feeling of hairiness is calmed down, I find a little sense of security and belonging. I hope to learn more about myself through sculpture.
